Step Out of the Comfort Zone

The time has come for us to step out of our comfort zone. To go after what scares us and excites us at the same time.  That thing that makes pit of our stomachs quiver, now is the time. We have spent time finding excuses as to why we can’t (and those are innumerable), now let’s look at the benefits if we do this thing.

We have dreamt it, now its time to believe it, feel it and go for it. It is time we realized that the comfort zone is not so comfortable after all. Let yourself feel what it would be like to live your dream and you will realize how uncomfortable you really are in your comfort zone.

So today let’s step out of the comfort zone and see what you know to be true, be free!

Your Authentic Self

Stop wearing the masks, stop defining yourself to everyone and especially yourself and stop letting others define you. You will actually start living the minute you stop doing that. Too many of us spend our lives living the way others think we should live/be. It is very tiring because everybody has their own opinion of how you should live/be. So to please these people you have to keep changing the masks.

Don’t get hung up on how people define you because when they define you, they are limiting themselves and that is their problem, not yours. But if you accept their definition of you then you are limiting yourself. So when you are interacting with others, take off the masks or don’t put on any, stop the role playing and be your true authentic self. When we wear masks and play roles we are saying who we are, is not good enough!

Today let’s take of the masks, stop playing the roles, let our true selves shine! Be your authentic self!

Stuck?

We are responsible for where we are in life, but if we don’t like where we are, does that mean we’re condemned to stay there? Are we also condemned to constantly do penance for where we are? Absolutely not. …

Often what keeps us stuck and continually doing penance is the very feeling that we must pay for our lack of action. We become caught in a circle of self-blame, condemn ourselves, feel hopeless, and feed the fire—or slow burn—by reciting like a mantra our history of inertia and self-judged wrong choices. Well, let’s break that dead-end cycle of waste and regret.

What’s the choice? It’s to stop the incessant self-judgments and accept ourselves on a new basis—to accept that every moment of our lives has been part of an all-encompassing Purpose, and that this Purpose proceeds by divine order.

When you acknowledge the workings of divine order, you see your life not as a consummate failure but as an evolving, orderly progression. Even though we may not see the purpose of each event, meeting or happening at a given moment, each piece fits.

Become freer from the self-defeating thoughts and labels that have kept you down. You’ll start to shed your old habits of negating yourself and ease gently into the splendid clothes of deserving. In these new clothes, which are much more than zipper-deep, you’ll begin to blossom and develop your talents and abilities, as you’ve always secretly known you could.
