Stop Limiting Yourself

Limiting yourself so others won’t feel bad about their lives & choices is an excuse. How dare you be less than your very best?– Paula Renaye, Hardline Self Help Tweet-able Tough Love Quotes Diomo Books.

Many of us put limitations on ourselves because we don’t want to seem as if we are bragging. We down play ourselves because we are told that society doesn’t like a show-off. We hide our talent.

Now there is a big difference between showing–off and letting your genius shine.

Showing-off is telling everyone how good you are or letting everyone know that you are great at what you do by pointing it out every chance you get. While letting your genius shine is just being your authentic self, by doing so, whatever it is you are good at will show (no flashing lights necessary).

If you are good at something, why should you not show it, just because others will feel inadequate? Their feelings are exactly that….THEIRS! Not YOURS!

So stop limiting yourself and let your genius shine, you are limitless!

“No one can ever be more by your being less.” – Paula Renaye, Hardline Self Help Tweet-able Tough Love Quotes. Diomo Books.

Powerful Thinking

Did you know that when we are afraid of something happening, we actually attract it? This is because of the amount of emotion and persistent focus we invest in the fear is powerful. We need to remove the personal investment of fear from what you don’t want to happen and now use that powerful energy and direct it at what you really want to happen.

Do you think, that if we realized that our thoughts became the things and events of our life, if we began believing that we were truly unlimited; and started to grasp that divine intervention could be freely summoned by anyone to help make our dreams come true, that we would continue doing the same old things, living the same old life, and waiting for the same old miracles?

Or would we begin thinking things we have never thought before, saying things we have never said before, and doing things we have never done before?
This is the “test” all must pass. Not to prove anything to anyone but to ourselves.

No matter what you have been thinking or feeling, your power to create something new is NOW!

So let us all start focusing our energies in the positive direction. Let us create the life that we want!

Stuck?

We are responsible for where we are in life, but if we don’t like where we are, does that mean we’re condemned to stay there? Are we also condemned to constantly do penance for where we are? Absolutely not. …

Often what keeps us stuck and continually doing penance is the very feeling that we must pay for our lack of action. We become caught in a circle of self-blame, condemn ourselves, feel hopeless, and feed the fire—or slow burn—by reciting like a mantra our history of inertia and self-judged wrong choices. Well, let’s break that dead-end cycle of waste and regret.

What’s the choice? It’s to stop the incessant self-judgments and accept ourselves on a new basis—to accept that every moment of our lives has been part of an all-encompassing Purpose, and that this Purpose proceeds by divine order.

When you acknowledge the workings of divine order, you see your life not as a consummate failure but as an evolving, orderly progression. Even though we may not see the purpose of each event, meeting or happening at a given moment, each piece fits.

Become freer from the self-defeating thoughts and labels that have kept you down. You’ll start to shed your old habits of negating yourself and ease gently into the splendid clothes of deserving. In these new clothes, which are much more than zipper-deep, you’ll begin to blossom and develop your talents and abilities, as you’ve always secretly known you could.
